1934 - Mahendra Kapoor was born in Amritsar, Punjab. He was an playback singer for Bollywood films. He rendered more than 2500 songs in various languages. He received Padma Shri, National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer, and three Filmfare Awards for Best Male Playback Singer.

1965 - Farah Khan was born. She is a Bollywood director, actress, and choreographer. She has choreographed for more than 100 songs. She won the Filmfare Best Choreography Award for six times and one National Film Award for Best Choreography. She has directed Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, and Tees Maar Khan films.

1974 - Farhan Akhtar was born in Mumbai. He is a Bollywood director, screenwriter, producer, actor, playback singer, lyricist and television host. He is the son of famous lyricist Javed Akhtar.
