1931 - Mohammad Ali Jouhar was died. He was an Muslim leader, activist, scholar, journalist and poet, and was the leaders of the Khilafat Movement. He was the President of Indian National Congress and one of the founders of the All India Muslim League and was also the president of the All India Muslim League.

1994 - Rahul Dev Burman was died in Mumbai at the age of 54. He was a legendary Bollywood music director. He was the son of the music director Sachin Dev Burman. He composed music for 331 films.
