Aajamgadh and Varanasi are the nearest town to our village.The Neareast railway Station is Aajamgadh. To Reach to our village there are number of buses and train's to Aazamgadh from Varanasi, And we can also reach to Laalgunj from Varanasi to Laalgunj directly by bus, and then from Laalgunj to Madhopur Dharang there are so many auto rikshaw's are available there rom Laalgunj to Madhopur Dharang. the distance between Laalgunj and Dharang is 3-4 km's. And the other way to reach this village is just come to Aajagadh by bus or by train and then catch the jeep's (available always) from Aajamgadh to Laalgunj and from Laalgunj to Dharang.
Initilly the name of this village is Madhopur Dharang but now it is known as Dharang.
There are no tourist attraction's in this village but the people of this village are very inresting and funny.
Most of the people's of this village are living in cities and remaining are working as former's in there own feild's, in this village mostly people's are belong's to hindu religion, the people belong's to other relgion are also living in the village. lifestyle oL this village very simple, languages used by the people to communicate with each other in this village is "Bhojpuri & Hindi".
There is a primary school in Dharang, and a intermediate collage in Laalgunj and also a deegre collage in Laalgunj is there.
