Kodakanchi is famous for temple of Lord Shiva. There is a saying that Kodakanchi is after Kanchi. There are gold, silver, and copper lizards in this temple same as in Kanchi temple. People believe it is auspicious to touch this lizards. This is a very old and magnificent temple. There is a koneru for this temple. Every year Jathara(mela) is held in this village. There is also a big lake in this village.
Description: Buses are avialable from Secunderabad in Hyderabad to this village. Bonthapally is a famous piligrimage center near to this village.
