Buses are available from Barielly and Shahjahanpur to this village. It is believed that this village is the birth place of Bhagwan Parashuram. Jalalabad name comes from Mugal ruler Jalaluddeen. There is a Parashuram temple, Ganga temple, Hanuman temple and Nirmanadheen in this village. 60 percent people are educated. Occupation of the people is self business,majduri etc. There are two schools Kakori Shaheed and Sethsiyaram. There is a hospital known as nagriya chikitsalaya. This village is developing slowly. People of this village believe in Lord Parashuram. There is a consideration of changing the name of this village to Parasurampuri upon the request of people.
