There is a temple of Lord Rama. The story of Ramayana is described on the wall surrounding the temple with pictures. It is vey nice to visit once. There are a few lakes and a canal passes through our village, which joins in river Godavari.
Occupation of people in this village is agriculture of paddy and coconut and fish hatcheries. There are two primary schools, one high school, two Jr. Colleges and a small hospital with nearly 20 beds.
Our village is mandal head quarters. Our village is 7 km away from Amalapuram. Buses and autos are available to and from our village.
