Martur is the tehsil/mandal/taluka in the district of Prakasam of Andhra Pradesh in India.
It is an Assembly Segment with nearly 1,50,00 voters, which includes 5 mandals. As per village it has more than 20,000 population. It has nearly 5 high schools including one government school, four junior collges and two degree colleges. Apart from that it has one ITI college on the name of Former Minister Mr. G. Hanumanta Rao. It has a 30 bed government general hospital.
