It is a remote and border village of Rapur mandal, located 4 km away from the State Highway from Gudur to Rajampet. It has three villages under its panchayat namely: Pangili Diguva,
Maddurupalli and Kalujugunta. The Population is about 300 families. In this panchayat Tribal
students are mostly employed in state and central Govt. The village has got one IRSS officer by name D.C. Venkaiah and one Asst. Manager of Syndicate Bank by name D. Penchalaiah.
The village is surrounded by Hills on three sides. People are dependant on hills for their
livelyhood. The village has SC, ST and BC communities only. No OBC or Forward communities.All families have cordial relationship. Paddy, Ragi, Bajra, Groundnut are the major cultivated crops. All the families are economically very poor irrespective of the caste.
