Allur mandal is basically famous for agriculture ( Rice, Salt etc). It consists of 13 villages including Purini. It is 10 km away from Bay of Bengal. Mr. Y. Bhanu Prakash Reddy 9th Ranker of 2002 civil service belongs to this mandal. Excellent and historical temples are located near Ramatheerdham. Aqua culture is also famous in this mandal. Many people are dependent on it.
