This village is situated at 15 km from Mylavaram mandal headquarters. The village is situated on the road between Madhira and Mylavaram. The population of the village is about 3000. There used to be an old temple in the village, but it has been reconstructed and the village has a new Sriram temple. Majority of the villagers are agriculturists. The village has a co-operative bank and a milk center.
