This is one of the biggest village by area and population in Sarangapur mandal. The uniqueness of this village is, it is fully sorrounded by hills and think forest. The bus route to this village passes between two hills. This village is sorrounded by small sub-villages such as palle, madaram and other thandas. There is a very old temple of Jaganadha Swamy in this village. There is also a small temple in the forest near this village.
