This village is 12 kms away from Piduguralla and 4 kms from state highway. The population of this village is about 2000, voters are more than 1200. It has its own post office which also circulates the postal services to Peda Agraharam. Compared to past 10 years the education has developed very well, and it need to devlop more. The main income of
the village is cultivation. The major income is from paddy. Nearly six engineers, one M.Tech, Ph.D, and one M.B.B.S doctor are from this village.
