This village is famous for brick industry, from here everyday nearly 250 lorries of bricks will transport to other places like Guntur, Krishna, Prakasam and other districts. In this village the main employement is agriculture, lorries and daily labourer for house constructions. This village has three movie theaters names Kanaka Durga Picture Palace, Srinivasa Mahal and Venkateswara Theater.
