This village is located on the bank of River Krishna. This is a good place for picnics having green fields beside the river. In karthika masam, many people visit this village.There are also some temples situated on the bank of the river like Tirupatamma and Anjaneya. It is a big village in Kollipara Mandal. Paddy, turmeric, redgram, black gram, jute, cane are the major crops in this village. It is 20 kms far from Tenali as well as from Vijayawada. One of the major panchayats in Tenali taluka. Besides this village there is a village named Munnangi, has a rare temple of Shiva with 5 lingas. It is one and only the temple in south India.
