This is one of main villages in Achampet mandal and major junction to connect Achampet,Krosur and Guntur via Amaravathi. The crops cultivated here are Chilli, Cotton, Paddy and
Pulses. The village population is approximately 3000. The main festival in this village is Ganga Jatara. This festival is very famous and people from all over the state come and offer pujas on that day. There will be cultural activities on the festival day.
