Teki is a beautiful village. It has own identity in the Kapileswarapuram Mandal. It has a rich flora and fauna and has many ponds. The village’s milk produce tops in the supply to Godavari Dairy. As a symbol of secularism the village has a Mosque, few Churches and many
Temples.
On the educational front, the village has Zilla Parishad High School and two Mandal
Parishad Elementary schools. Recently two English medium private schools have also been setup. The village has a branch of Nationalized Bank - Andhra Bank. Over past few years the village has progressed substantially in the areas of Education and Infrastructure. Village plays a prominent role in deciding the Assembly elections of Ramachandrapuram constituency.
