On an average for every five people in this village, there is one person who is well educated professionally and working for the development of country in India or abroad. In this village there is a High School as old as 73 years, one Govt Hospital with 40 beds, One veterinary Hospital, One Private School by the name Ravi Vidyanikethan. Newly, there is a
construction of an Engineering college at Karamipalle about 0.6 km from the village center. There is a famous temple of Ramlingeswara Swamy. People normally cultivate Sugarcane, Paddy,and Mulberry crops.
