This is one of the major grampanchayats in this mondal. It is first established by Vamsajas of Panati. There is a temple called Drowpathi Sametha Darmarajula Vari Devasthanam. It is constucted nearly in 1900 AD. There is also a tank known as Om Namah Sivaya cheruvu. There is also a forest guest house, which is constucted in British period.
