A great devotee of goddess lalitha lived there and served the people for three decades. Bharatam Rama Subba Sarma, a gifted born to the parents of Venkata Subbaiah and Janakamma. He constructed Lalitha Devi temple and developed gnana and bhakthi in the nearby villages by performing poojas in the temple. He was a doctor also and served the needy without any fees. He went jeeva samadhi in 1977, and till today he is fulfilling the needs of his believers. His aradhana falls on the third day in dasara, that is asviyuja suddha thadiya. A big temple with the idols of Lalitha, Shiva, Sankaracharya, Anjaneya etc can be seen.
