There is a famous Lord Hanuman temple in this village. It is said to be 200 years old and here people believe that the Lord has too many powers. The festivals like Hanuman Jayanthi and Sree Rama Navami are celebrated in a grand manner. The statue of God is about 7 feet in height and 4 feet in width. This is sculptured on a rock of measurements 8 ft X 4 ft. This village is almost 15 km away from Hindupur town. There are bus services and auto services available. Hindupur is 100km away from Anantapur, the district head quarters in Andhra Pradesh.
