Situated about 2 Km off NH7 between Armoor and Nirmal. This village is on the banks of river Godavari. It is believed that Sage Parsurama of Hindu mythology performed penance here . The river has lost it's charm after adam was built about 15 kms upstream by name Sri Ramsagar Project also called Pochampad project. The water flows have diminished but life goes on.
